Bowen Technique and Fertility
The Guardian (August 2001) reports that the Bowen Technique has a surprisingly high success rate in the treatment of infertility.
Trials in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, using the Bowen Technique on infertile couples, have met with remarkable success and Bowen specialists worldwide report on the fast and effective results of this technique in treating infertility (reports The Guardian, August 2001).
Bowen is a very gentle system of realigning the body and assists the body to find its natural balance, both on a muscular and skeletal level. If your pelvis is twisted, tilted or imbalanced in any way it can affect the whole of your reproductive area. By applying a set of gentle rolling movements we address the pelvis, endocrine (hormonal) system and the whole of the pelvic area. Creating more blood supply to the area and aiding the uterus to rebalance can create a wonderful environment to assist your conscious conception.

Emotional and mental stress and tension can tighten the body creating imbalance on a deep level. Both the autonomic nervous and endocrine systems are influenced by the mind and so when the muscular system is in a deep state of relaxation, the body can achieve more flow and emotional release.
Bowen technique can have a positive effect on both male and female reproductive systems, working on functional problems such as: PCOS; low sperm count; loss of menstruation; infrequent ovulation; ovarian cysts; and endometriosis - as well as other conditions leading to infertility. Bowen can also be used along side all fertility treatments such as Clomid challenge, IUI and IVF.
